An M&S discovery

Little F is two weeks and three days old now so we’re getting more adventurous with our outings. On Sunday Rod and I took him round the shopping centre for an hour (timed to the minute between feeds) so I felt I could go again with mum this morning.
We were just finishing off our errands and some nice ladies had stopped to admire him and tell me he was “a proper wee boy” (sweet!) when he woke up and started screaming. I looked at my watch – time for a change and a feed. I was thinking I’d need to find the ladies and then a quiet corner in a coffee shop… but we were in M&S and did you know they have a whole room for nursing mothers?! I was delighted when I opened the door to find a changing table, sink, chair and loads of room for the pram. There was even a lock on the door – so after I’d changed him I told mum to go shopping and I sat, quite happily feeding the wee man.
Thank you M&S for providing such a great, stress-free facility. Nothing can stop me shopping now!

  1. Ooh, that’s worth knowing, I’ll check and see if my local M&S has one too. I discovered today that our Boots does which I thought was pretty awesome. I wonder how many other shops do too.
